About this policy
This policy describes how InfoBlocks, an app developed by nonosthings, handles information when you create and use custom widgets. It applies to the InfoBlocks app and its widget extension.
Information used on your device
InfoBlocks uses the information needed to show the widgets you create. This information is processed on your device and is not sent to the developer or to third-party services by InfoBlocks.
- Widget designs and preferences. Your layouts, names, text, colors, font choices, and editor preferences are saved locally. The app and its widget extension share local storage so your saved designs can appear in widgets.
- Photos you choose. If you add a photo component, the system photo picker lets you select an image. InfoBlocks stores a resized copy locally for use in your widget. It does not browse your entire photo library or upload the image.
- Calendar events. If you grant calendar access, InfoBlocks reads upcoming event information, such as titles, dates, and times, to display it in your widgets.
- Reminders. If you grant reminder access, InfoBlocks reads incomplete reminders, including titles and due dates, to display them in your widgets.
InfoBlocks does not modify your calendar events or reminders.
Your choices and permissions
Calendar and reminder access are optional and requested separately when you add those components. You can decline access and continue using other components. You can change or revoke access at any time in your device’s Settings.
You choose which photos to import. Removing a photo component and saving the design, or deleting a design, removes its local photo copy when no other saved design uses that copy. Your original photo is not deleted.
Information placed in a widget may be visible to anyone who can see your screen. Choose the content and placement of your widgets accordingly.
Storage and deletion
Saved designs and preferences remain on your device until you change or remove them. You can delete saved designs in InfoBlocks. Removing the app and its data through your device’s system controls removes its locally stored app data. There is no InfoBlocks account or server-side profile to delete.
Device backups and any syncing of your photo library, calendars, or reminders are managed by your operating system and the services you choose. InfoBlocks does not operate its own cloud storage or sync service.
Analytics, advertising, and third parties
InfoBlocks does not include advertising, third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or its own remote crash-reporting service. It does not collect device identifiers, usage history, or location data. It does not sell or share personal information.
Apple’s App Store, operating system, and optional diagnostics are governed by Apple’s privacy policy and your Apple privacy settings.
Contacting support
If you choose to email help@nonosthings.tech, the developer receives your email address and whatever you include in your message. That information is used to respond to your request. Please avoid including private photos, calendar details, or reminders unless necessary. Sending a support email is separate from using the app; InfoBlocks does not send it automatically.
